Nuts & Bolts CLE

Description

The SD YLS continues to provide this CLE programming on the same day as the statewide swearing-in ceremony in Pierre, SD. Join other members on programming of interest to the newer SD attorney.

Schedule:

  • 9:00-9:05: Introduction and Welcome
  • 9:05-9:35: Fit to Practice Session- Mindfulness
  • 9:35-10:35: Lobbying and Advocacy & A Lawyers’ Role in the Legislature 
  • 10:45-11:45: Overview of a Debtor/Creditor Practice 
  • 11:45-12:45: LUNCH (provided by RedRossa on-site)
  • 12:45-1:45: Pathways to the Bench: A Discussion with members of the JQC
  • 1:45-1:50: Closing and surveys
